Acts‬ ‭16:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭16:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for setting a lady free from the evil spirit.

Paul and Silas were beaten, dragged and thrown into the inner prison. They were bound in chains.

Paul and Silas did not complain and were not angry or bitter towards God even though they got treated badly for doing good.

Many today fall away from their God-given ministry because they got treated badly for doing good.

What they don’t realise is that the enemy wants to stop them from continuing the ministry.

By quitting the ministry is submitting, in defeat, to the enemy.

Instead, be like Paul and Silas, praise the Lord.

Paul and Silas were beaten, chained and put into inner prison but they lifted their voices and worshipped and praised their Lord and God.

The foundation of the prison was shaken, everyone’s chains were loosed and all the prison doors were opened.

No matter how hard or how bad the situation becomes when we serve the Lord, there is no power, no chain or prison doors that can keep a person who would worship and praise the living God.

If we find ourselves in a prison mentally, emotionally or even physically, let us lift up praise, let us worship the Lord and see all the prison doors open in Jesus Name.

Blessings
