Acts‬ ‭12:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭12:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The bible tells us that Peter was bound in chains and was sleeping. The church was praying and the angles of the Lord stood by him and raised him up.

Everything that bound Peter from chains, the prison cell, guards and the authorities could not stand against God and His word.

In the same manner every form of power, influence, authority or bondage cannot stand against those who believe God and His word.

Peter was sleeping in the midst of a crisis because he knew his life belongs to God and will live until his assignment is finished here on earth.

We too can build our faith and confidence in Christ. He is a faithful God who never ever fails.

We too can rest In peace in the midst of a storm because He who has begun a good work in us will perfect it.

We can live life in the truth and in the power of God everyday. Be open to hear the Holy Spirit awakening our hearts and minds to the things He wants us to do.

Let us walk in God’s word and see those chains of bondage broken and sickness disappear in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Blessings

Ambrose
