Acts‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen.”

Stephen was someone appointed by the apostles for the distribution of food and caring for the widows.

While doing his work, he began to teach, preach and walked with signs and wonders.

Stephen boldly proclaimed Christ and kept reminding the Jews of all walks of life and the devout.

People who love their religion and some would travel almost 1400 km just to worship God in the temple.

Stephen was surrounded by the devout, the freedman and those who passionately believe in their religion but none can stand against the wisdom that flows out of Stephen.

The same God who lived in Stephen is living in us. Just as God spoke through Stephen over every point that the religious tries at him so will the Holy Spirit of God will speak through us if we trust and believe in Him.

No matter what we go through in life, no matter who is questioning us, God will always have the answers that will blow our own mind.

We have the mind of Christ, we have God through His Spirit living and residing in us.

We have in us God’s kingdom. Therefore, there is nothing we need to be fearful.

We can go with a blank mind before our accusers but the Lord will speak through His mind.

Let us build our faith in Him that we can trust God for the next word to come out of our mouth that will change lives.
