For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

This scripture gives insight into many things pertaining to our beliefs and the way we live our life.

This passage simply states that there is nothing else to go back to after experiencing Christ and knowing His truth.

Whatever way we want to interpret this passage, there is one thing we all know that there is no turning our back or walking away from Jesus Christ.

Once we know the truth about salvation, there is nothing else we should turn to in order to justify our salvation.

Anyone who has tasted the goodness of God and has received the revelation of His power cannot be a willful sinner.

Sin becomes something we hate and reject. This does not mean we will not sin again but it does mean that we have made a choice to reject sin in our lives by the power of God.

People who say they love God but keep rejecting the word of God and His instructions will eventually grow cold in their faith.

We must be careful not to let a little yeast of sin to set in, to enjoy the 'little sin' because it will eventually leaven our whole life.

God's power to save does not change but to keep on rejecting that salvation that God gave freely will depend on the choice we make.

Let's not be blinded with the word 'God understands' or it is ok for me to keep on sinning. We have been delivered from the power of sin and death to live in Christ and enjoy righteousness.
