Joseph had a dream from God and knew God's purpose for his life but his own brothers hated it and despised him because of what God had planned for him.

It is important that we don't just spread the news of God's plan and purpose for our personal life to everyone.

We do need to nurture and protect it from every negative influence. The enemy will try to stop it from manifesting and will use people around us to discourage us from doing what God has called us to do.

Mary, the mother of Jesus did the same when she received the promise. She did not spread the news but went to Elizabeth.

God will always prepare people to be our encouragers. God always sends his ministers to encourage us in the things of the kingdom.

We also must be prepared and ready to face opposition because every time God wants to accomplish something through His children, the enemy would do his best to stop it. In Joseph case, it was his own family members.

When we face such challenges, we need to continue to walk with God and in His likeness.

We cannot respond like the world when we face crises in our lives. We need to respond positively to the power and glory that Christ has given to us.

Joseph displayed a godly response every time he faced challenges. Looking unto God in following the dream God gave him.

We too are called by God and we need to keep our eyes on the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ.
