So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;

There are many ways to gain wisdom and there are so many so-called wisdom that is out there in the world.

Before we inclined our ears to any wisdom, we need to be assured that it is true wisdom that will bring us good to our spirit, soul and body.

There is only one source of wisdom that we can be completely assured to trust in and rely upon. That is the wisdom that comes from God.

Proverbs 2:6 says that God gives wisdom. Therefore taking hold of the wisdom from God is the best thing for mankind.

1 Cor 1: 24 tells us that Jesus is the power and wisdom of God. Every word Jesus spoke and every work Jesus established is the wisdom from God to mankind.

Because it is pure, not selfish, not prideful or greedy and through them we become a blessing to others.

To incline means leaning towards to doing something or habitually doing something. Therefore, to incline our ears to wisdom means to doing or habitually following the wisdom we have received from God.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. This is the wisdom that we receive by habitually listening to God's word.

When we receive the word from God (wisdom), then we need to apply it to our heart.

Real change takes effect when one would choose to put wisdom into action. Applying them into our daily life and in our daily activities.

Let us give ear to all that Christ Jesus has done for that is the wisdom we need to live life today.
