When the Apostles heard that people in Samaria received Jesus and was baptised they came to see them. They received Jesus into their lives but have yet to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This is very important because the first church started with power, signs and wonders after the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus our Lord received the baptism of the Holy Spirit by Our Father in heaven as heaven opened up and God the Holy Spirit came and remained in Him.

The explosion of faith and boldness in believers to stand for Jesus and His gospel become evident after they receive the Holy Spirit.

Some believers believed in Jesus but did not want to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

This is because they think it looks silly from the world's point of view but to the believers, it is the power of God. It enables them to see, hear and know the things of Our Father in heaven.

If we believe in Jesus, then we have to believe and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit because that is what Jesus told His disciples to wait for.

For those who have been baptised in the Holy Spirit, let us keep building ourselves by praying in the Spirit daily. For those who have not been baptised in the Holy Spirit, don't miss out on the fullness of God for our lives.

Speak to your spirit-filled friends, leaders or pastors and get them to pray with you to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

If Jesus walked by the power of the Holy Spirit, then so must we who believe in Him.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. So is His promises, they never change.

Let us be the Spirit-filled church that spread the Gospel with signs and wonders.
