Galatians 3:5 NKJV

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 NKJV

This is a simple truth that defines how we should be living. Everything that Jesus did for us is a gift and there is nothing that we can earn by our own effort.

Jesus gave us His Spirit to help us grow in the grace that has been provided. Paul is rebuking the believers who are going back to earning holiness by works.

Paul asked, "Who has bewitched you?" It means that they have decided to see things through the evil eye. They began to see things from a fallen nature and trying to earn the divine nature of God.

Every time we live our lives according to the law and not by faith we have fallen short from God's glory.

God wants us to live in and through His grace by faith. God wants us to believe all that He has accomplished us.

What we as believers need to work on is to live by faith trusting God in all He has done for us. Yes, to trust and rely on the finished work of Christ.

When we spend time to see what Christ has done for us then we will understand how to live according to His purpose.

God wants us to live by faith through Christ. Everything that we do we do is through Christ.

We live our lives through the resurrection power of Jesus. The way we pray, the way we see and the way we serve got to be done through Christ.

Let us not get entangled by the law but be free by the grace of God.

Blessings
