Genesis 3:8 NKJV

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Genesis 3:8 NKJV

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, something changed. In this picture, we can see that the one who changed was Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve changed in their trust and obedience that they had towards God to satan. They chose to listen to satan instead of listening to God.

Adam and Eve changed from not being ashamed to being ashamed. They changed in their position from fellowshipping with God to hiding away from God.

When sin first entered the world it caused the entire human race to become sinners. It has crucially changed only one thing. It changed man, not God.

God still came into the Garden to fellowship with Adam and Eve. God did not change at all. He is faithful, steadfast and true to His nature.

God had to put mankind out of the garden to separate them from the tree of life. This is because God loves mankind so much He did not want mankind to eat from the tree of life and live forever in the fallen condition.

Jesus came and died for our sins. He gave us back our true nature and life that is blameless.

God is not the One who is turning His face from us. It is the guilt and condemnation that satan puts on us that causes us to move away from God.

It is the deception of satan that twists the truth by saying that God does not love us or God hates us.

God loves us so much, He demonstrated that love by giving His life for us.

God never changes, His love is the same, faithful and always true.

Let us not let the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life block us from receiving God's divine love, grace and fellowship.

But let us fix our eyes on Him, give our bodies as a living sacrifice, bow down before God in humility and worship Him alone.

Blessings
