“Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.”

‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭8‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When the tabernacle was built, God told Moses that Aaron’s sons would be priests in the tabernacle.

They were ordinary priests for an extraordinary role.

They were clothed with tunics and girded them with sashes and hats.

These are pictures or a symbol of how the priest would be in Christ.

The tunic is the inner garment closest to the skin. It speaks about the spiritual kingdom that would be built in them.

The robe put on them is the authority of the kingdom and the hat is Jesus as the head over us.

The priests were anointed to do the work, they were not qualified for the work in the tabernacle.

We do not qualify to do the work of Christ but we are appointed by Jesus to work the works of Christ.

In Christ we have all received His kingdom. God’s kingdom now is established in us through Christ.

Now we serve God with Jesus in our lives, Jesus as our authority and Jesus as our commander, chief and Lord.

Jesus established this covenant for us by dying for us.

The old curtain in the tabernacle that separated the dwelling place of God and man was torn down.

So that we can live in His presence 24 hours and 7 days a week forever.

This is the reason we are called to live boldly in Christ Jesus for He is the King of kings.

Let us live our lives daily as priests before the Lord and fulfilling all that He has purposed for us.

Blessings
