“Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.”

‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This took place after Jesus and His disciples fed five thousand men.

They collected 12 baskets full of small pieces of bread and fish, fragments from the 5 loaves, and two fishes. These 12 baskets full is not a multiplication from 5 loaves but leftovers after feeding the five thousand.

When Jesus fed the people, there was evidence for everyone to see and say that He is a God of more than enough.

We serve a God who can take something so small, something that cannot be considered, and turn it into something so big.

God wants us to live a surrendered life unto Him so that we can walk in His abundant blessings.

We must move from giving God something when we need Him to a lifestyle of giving so that we don’t have to ask for our next need.

A lad that gave that five loaves and two fish is not even numbered among the five thousand yet the miracle on those baskets was seeds from his personal lunch.

A farmer does not think twice about planting his seed for a crop, because he knows if he needs his supply to be constant, he needs to be constant too with his sowing.

When we are constantly doing something, it becomes a lifestyle that does not take much effort to do it.

God wants us to have a full basket of our own testimonies but it won’t happen without a seed.

Let us live a life of giving so that multitudes can come into the kingdom and our barns overflow with blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessings
