Colossians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.”

Paul talked about Epaphras who is fervent in praying for the churches, lifting up pastors, leaders and ministers of the kingdom of God in prayer.

Epaphras' zeal for the saints encouraged all the ministers and their congregation.

Prayer is not a ritual, it’s a weapon that God has given to the church. Paul certainly acknowledged that when God’s people took their place in prayer, things happen.

When Peter was in prison in Acts chapter 12, the believers prayed earnestly without ceasing and an angel appeared and the chains that bound Peter fell.

Peter was delivered because the church stood together in prayer. There is power, authority and plans that God has given to the saints to use. If we use it, the whole kingdom of God will benefit from it and if we don’t, then we will lose out on it.

Let us be zealous for the kingdom of God, and pray for those who go out to preach about the coming of the kingdom of God.

Pray for more workers for the kingdom of God that will do what Jesus did here on earth.

Pray that all believers will believe and flow in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and move in power.

Pray that tradition will be broken and our relationship with our Heavenly Father be restored once again.

Pray that the message of the kingdom of God will be preached from where we are till the ends of the earth.
