“And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”

The disciples were eager to know the times and seasons when the Lord is going to restore the kingdom to Israel.

Jesus said to them that it is not for them to know the times and seasons of the things that the Father has set.

Believers sometimes get caught in wanting to see the miracles, signs and wonders, wanting to see events of the kingdom, and studying times and seasons.

Yet they are totally missing the point that they are the ones whom God had appointed to establish His kingdom here on earth.

Jesus said don’t look at this but when the Holy Spirit comes, you will be

empowered to be My witness,

empowered to establish the kingdom of God and

empowered to bring territories under God and His influence.

The enemy wants us to get caught in wanting to know about the seasons and times instead of looking at Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit and doing as God sees and as God does.

If we try to find out about times and seasons above doing and fulfilling His purpose, we are not in harmony with God.

We are worrying and looking into things that Jesus said to leave alone.

We just need to do what we need to do and that is preaching the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, casting out the devil and setting the oppressed free.

Let us not get caught up with things that we should not be looking into but get caught up with preaching the kingdom of God every day.
