Joel‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand:”

‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Just like the prophet Joel declared the day of the Lord is coming and it is at hand, so it is for us today.

As we prepare ourselves and the world for the second coming of Christ, we also redeem everything that God has placed right before us now.

The sounding of the trumpet brings our attention to our position in Christ.

It is to alert ourselves that we are part of the kingdom of God, we are His priest to the world, we are His love to the world and we are His grace to the world.

We are to be the alarm of God, sounding the promises of God, taking His authority and power to rule with Christ.

It is to sound the alarm and to bring to attention the mission and purpose of God in this world and for this world.

The world needs to know that there is a kingdom whose King is the Lord God Almighty and it is going to rule over everything in the end.

The time will come when there will be only One King and One kingdom and whoever believes in Jesus will be part of God’s kingdom while the others will be destroyed.

This alarm is sound to move us forward in reaching the lost and preaching that the kingdom of God has come.

Jesus did not die for His children to be dormant but for His children to take dominion over the earth for Him and in Him.

Let us all rise up to the sound of the trumpet every day to march forward for the kingdom of God to reach the unreached.
