“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,”

Paul, speaking of his testimony and his witness and it is not based on his upbringing or what he had learned as a Pharisee but by the wisdom and knowledge that comes from God. His dependency on the Holy Spirit is evident in his teaching and preaching to the believers. He has stated many times that his confidence is in Christ and being led by the Holy Spirit. Paul also highlighted the facts that the mysteries and hidden wisdom of God are for our glory. This means that we have received the mysteries of the kingdom of God as stated in Matthew 13:11. Paul believed there is a wisdom that surpasses all the wisdom of the world and knowledge that cannot be compared to the world's standards. The wisdom and knowledge of God that is far above all the wisdom of men that has been granted to all believers. This wisdom and knowledge of God belong to every believer and it flows when we trust and believe by faith. In order for the world to see the goodness of God, the church which are the believers in Christ need to shine forth God’s glory here on earth. We are called to function in the wisdom and knowledge of God and not man. We need to look and discern with the knowledge of the glory of God. We need to be confident and believe that every word we speak carries such power to change situations and circumstances from glory to glory. Let us take hold of our inheritance and flow in the wisdom and knowledge of God.
