“Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus told the teacher of the law, a Pharisee, Nicodemus that no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again.

Nicodemus reasoned with his intellect and understood it as a man entering a mother’s womb and coming out again.

What Jesus said sounded funny, and did not make any sense in the natural.

That is true because spiritual things cannot be looked at naturally.

We need to see the word of God through the Spirit of the Lord.

God’s word cannot be naturally discerned but must be spiritually discerned.

We will end up with a wrong understanding and sincerely believe the wrong things.

The Pharisees were sincere in what they do but they were sincerely wrong.

There are many who are trapped in understanding the word of God because they reason it with their own understanding.

We need to see every word of God through the finished work of Christ.

Christ is the revelation to all mankind. He is the Lord of lords and He is the King of kings.

We need to see the word of God in the Spirit and live by faith trusting God.

Let us discern spiritual things spiritually and live out the life of Christ in this world.
