“So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.””

Paul encouraged us all to put on incorruption and to put on immortality. That is what Christ has purchased for us.

We just need to put it on. It’s been paid for, it’s been written for us and it’s been waiting for us.

Just like fireproof clothes will protect us from burning, its materials have the capacity to withstand heat.

The fire has lost its power to burn and create heat when the fireproof clothes are on us.

What we have in Christ is far and more powerful beyond any other power that tries to harm us.

We need to put on Christ, put on incorruption and immortality.

This means we no longer speak about our situation, no longer speak about our pain and we don’t speak about our problems. These are all mortal and corruptible.

That means we speak the immortality, we speak about our identity in Christ. We speak about all that He has done. We speak about what we have received in Jesus Christ.

Then we can truly say that death has no effect over us. Because in Christ we die no more but live forever and ever.

We all will leave behind this earthly corruptible vessel and will live in our true identity as a spirit being.

Let us not be entangled by corruptible things or mortal things but let us all put on immortality and incorruption.
