‭‭‭‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A person with a heart after God and have decided to live for Him does not live like everyone else in the world.

Paul says that for him to stay longer is better even though he longs to be with the Lord.

The reason behind his decision is so that he can win many more souls into the kingdom and reveal the truth to many more leaders.

Many believers are praying for the second coming of Jesus because they want to be with the Lord and escape the corruption of the world yet they have not shared Jesus with one non-believer.

When our love grows towards God, we want to do what is in His heart.

We don’t live isolated, minding our own business and waiting for our time to go to be with Jesus.

We live in unity with the body of Christ, as a family of God, building each other in our faith.

Strengthen each other and share the gospel because when the time comes, we don’t want our Lord’s precious ones to be heading to hell.

God's heart desires that none should perish. What is our heart's desire?

For Paul to do and accomplish God’s purpose is more important than his personal desires.

It is for God’s glory and it is for God’s honour, that Paul chose to live his life.

We too have a choice to make every day. Our desire versus God’s desire.

The truth is that when we let go of ourselves and do what is God’s, we will have our desires fulfilled.

Let us examine our hearts to better ourselves to serve according to God’s heart's and His desire.

Blessings
