II Timothy 2:7 NKJV
“Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.”
II Timothy 2:7 NKJV
Paul taught Timothy to consider what he had said about the characteristics of a good leader.
Taking the analogy from a soldier, an athlete and a farmer.
They all have one thing in common, that is focused on staying on course and fulfilling their assignments.
Everything that God has called us to do takes time to develop, takes maturing, takes persistence and patience.
If we want to see the fruits before going through the process of growing, we will be disappointed.
Focusing on Christ becomes a key component in fulfilling our assignments.
When we consider God and His promises over our current situations, we will be able to see pass through our pain.
Every setback can be a set up in the kingdom of God if we continue the course.
We need to strengthen ourselves in the Lord and know that God is faithful and have equipped us with all the strength that we need.
Let us rise up as a good soldier for Christ, an athlete and a farmer who is diligent in considering God above all else.
Blessings
