“If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.”

When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego heard what the King summoned them to do, they replied to the King that their God is ABLE to deliver them from the burning furnace.

Such boldness, confidence, and assurance that these Hebrew children had toward God.

They believe that their God is ABLE. They not only believe that their God is able, they not only speak what they believe to their enemy but they stood with their actions till the end.

The truth is the majority of believers believe that God is ABLE to deliver them without a shadow of a doubt.

Many believe that God will come through and they speak about it boldly but very few make a decision to stand till the end without a question.

The three Hebrews were willing to be burned because their trust and obedience toward God could not be altered.

In today's world, we may come up with many reasons how we can avoid those things by compromising the truth.

We compromise to make people happy even though it brings destruction. We put up with things that corrupt the hearts and minds toward God.

These three Hebrews have such knowledge, such confidence in their God above their own life.

We need to know our God. It is not a ceremonial relationship by doing the right thing but having the right relationship with our Heavenly Father.

This is so that we not only know but are willing to give our life for it when the time comes and when we are tested in what we have believed.

Let us continue to know our God by knowing Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Let us trust Him and stand in all of His promises because our God is ABLE.
