John‬ ‭14‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

Such a wonderful promise Jesus gave us so that we can be anchored in Him. This is one of the favourite passages of scripture used in funeral services.

Even though it is a great promise of God to use in an occasion but it is not meant to be spoken only on our last breath here on earth.

We need to hear these promises right now so that we will have this hope in us that Christ is coming back for us.

Jesus has risen and has taken His place with the Father. Therefore, Jesus has prepared for us all a place where we will be united in Him, spirit to spirit without the fallen nature.

This is such a powerful truth, that no matter what happens in this world, we will be with Jesus, secure in the mansion that He has prepared for us.

God promised that we will be with Him at the end. This hope should empower us to live a fear-free life.

Everything that we go through on this earth is temporary. Everything that we have, we are just stewards of God’s gift to us.

Therefore, we hold on to God and His promises until the end. Life has its storms, its mountains, and its valleys, but we need to hold on to the end in God.

We don’t let the temporary things of this world to stop us from believing in the eternal plan of God.

Let us keep looking unto Jesus and keep seeing ourselves living in the mansions that Jesus prepared for each one of us.
