Acts 2:28 NKJV

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’

Acts 2:28 NKJV

Peter was speaking of the scriptures in the Psalm of David that speaks of the glorious news of the revelation knowledge that the ways of life now have been made known through Christ.

Jesus promised that God the Holy Spirit will come to comfort, lead and guide us in all the ways of life.

God has given us the written manual for life, called the Bible. The Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit to help us understand our purpose in life.

As we study the scriptures in the Holy Spirit, God will show and make clear to us the ways of life.

The world has framed our mind in many ways with the news of the ways of the world.

Our old mindset of the world needs to be uprooted and be replaced by the new mind in Christ Jesus.

The ways of the world need to be replaced by the ways of God. We thank God that God the Holy Spirit is in us to encourage us, to build us and to help us to live life in the ways of God.

God the Holy Spirit can only show us the way if we pay attention to Him and spend time to know what He is saying.

As believers, we need to be a good listener first before being a good talker as God the Holy Spirit is constantly speaking, giving direction and guidance. If we are not attentive to Him, we may miss His guidance.

Spending time with the Holy Spirit in the Word is so important. The word comes alive in the Spirit and brings enlightenment to the ways of life.

Studying the word without the guidance of the Holy Spirit can become a knowledge without life application.

Studying the word without the spirit makes a reader a spectator but reading the word of God with the Holy Spirit makes the reader a participant.

Living our life in the Word and with the Holy Spirit will light up our lives with joy in the presence of God.

Blessings
