John 7:18 NKJV

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

John 7:18 NKJV

The Jews marvelled at the knowledge that flows out of Jesus as He taught the word. Jesus is speaking the kingdom of God out of revelation and not out of human understanding.

Jesus is teaching us some amazing truths and one of them is to know whether it is a doctrine of man or a doctrine of God.

Every doctrine of man will exalt the works of the flesh, glorifies the things to do or the things achieved to move in the supernatural.

When flesh exposes, pride can creep in without our knowledge and it will choke our growth in God and causes us to grow in the flesh.

When our teaching and preaching points to what Christ has done and what Christ has given, then we truly testify to God instead of testifying to the works and efforts of men.

Jesus said to them for those who would seek to glorify God, there is no unrighteousness in Him.

This is to say when we seek to speak what God has said and believe what God has done for us, there is no unrighteousness in us.

This is a powerful truth to know that righteousness comes because we accept the work Christ Jesus has done for all mankind.

Therefore, we are the righteousness of God through faith by believing in the work of GOD and not the work of men.

To believe in the work that Christ has done is the preaching and teaching that glorifies God.

Let us keep our heart and mind fixed on Jesus Christ and His finished work for all mankind and keep away from everything that comes against it.
