John 20:29 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

John 20:29 NKJV

After Jesus resurrected from the dead, He appeared to His disciples except for Thomas. And when the disciples told Thomas that Jesus is alive and appeared to them, Thomas did not believe them.

Thomas wanted to see first, then believe. This is so true with so many believers, leaders and even teachers of the word.

Jesus was gracious to meet Thomas at the level of His faith. But Jesus did not say this is the way to believe but did say blessed are those who did not see yet believe.

Thomas's faith is like the unbelievers, they want to see and experience first before believing but the kind of faith that pleases God is believe and persist first and then we will see the miracles.

Many of us know the promises of God and what He has acomplished for us. But we would want to see first then only start living in them. God wants us to live by faith and not by sight.

God wants us to take Him at His word and live according to what He has said.

Great faith is those who would believe God at His word and stand by it even if we don't see any avidence in the natural.

Faith is believing without seeing first and causes God to marvel and brings pleasure to Him.

God wants us to trust Him no matter what we go through in our lives. Whether we see it or don't see it, it should not make any difference regarding our faith in His promises.

We need to keep trusting Him in every situation and keep believing Him in every challenge we go through in this world.

Let us live our life in faith, believing in Jesus and all of His promises.

Blessings
