II Corinthians 1:7 NKJV

And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.

II Corinthians 1:7 NKJV

Paul is encouraging believers that this present temporal sufferings is nothing compared to the eternal blessings that God has prepared for His children.

This is important for us to understand that every suffering we go through in life is a battle between the kingdom of God and satan's kingdom.

When we stand according to God's word and remain in His promises, we will find ourselves in a place of resistance, persecution and even face false accusation.

All this must not harden our hearts nor should it dampen our spirits. Instead, it should stir us up for being counted a privilege to be persucuted for Christ's sake.

When we go through hardships, we need to keep our eyes on Christ who is our consolation because in Him we have everything.

We need to remain in His love and no matter what the outcome may be, we can be assured that all will be well with our soul.

The bigger the storms that we face, the firmer we need to hold on to Jesus. Carefully watch what goes into our heart and what comes out of our mouth.

What we confess creates an atmosphere. If we confess God's word, then faith will rise and deepen our anchor in Christ but if fear comes in, then we lose our grip on our breakthroughs.

Let us stand strong in the Lord and embrace every challenge that comes our way by faith in Christ Jesus.

Blessings
