‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV

“Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus was tempted by satan in the wilderness. Jesus's divinity was challenged. Jesus could have proved to satan who He is but Jesus did not do so.

Instead, Jesus said, " Do not tempt the Lord your God." What Jesus was saying to satan was that He does not need to prove to anyone.

For what the Lord had purposed before the foundation of the world will come to pass as Jesus keeps on doing according to the word of God.

Every power and authority that God had given to His church is not to be used to prove something.

Instead, the power and authority are to establish God’s kingdom here on earth.

Many will tempt us to prove our work and our business, and sometimes our own ego wants to prove to people who we are.

Those things are of satan. All we need to do is to do our best and keep learning and believing all that Jesus has done for us.

We must not fall into the tricks of satan, alluring us to do so for the sake of proving our identity in Christ.

We need to be bold in living like Christ and change the landscape of this earth with God’s divine kingdom.

Let us be confident in the finished work of Christ and live as God’s children.

Blessings
