Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The psalmist encouraged the reader to serve the Lord with gladness of heart and with singing.

These two attributes speak of pleasures in serving the Lord and it is not a burden.

We always count it such a privilege for someone to be appointed to serve the king.

No matter what the work may be, it is pride, joy, and honour to be called to serve the king.

How much more it is a privilege to serve the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. How much more privileged we are to serve the Creator Himself.

When we have the right perspective of who we are serving, our lips will be filled with praises, and songs of joy will fill our hearts.

When we can see that we are serving the only living God, we will be so happy and blessed to be given the opportunity to serve Him.

God honours us with this opportunity to serve Him in His kingdom.

When we do it all unto God our king, we will look forward to serving Him. Keep looking forward to the opportunities to serve Him.

Those who shy away from serving the Lord and don’t take the opportunity don’t really realise what they are missing out on.

Those who jump into the opportunity that opens up to serve the Lord will be filled with more songs of joy and find great pleasure in life.

When we engage with God’s kingdom, we can’t help but get caught up with His presence and live consciously with God’s blessings.

The more we serve God, the more His kingdom flows out of us and blesses those around us.

Let us count it a privilege and honour of the highest to serve the One who made us with His love.
