“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.”

‬‬As we grow in the Lord, we learn that we are today in Christ because of His grace and mercy.

The possibility of being Christ-like is in everyone. The ability to forgive is dependent on the lenses that we see through.

If we see through what they have done to us, it would stir our carnality to resist forgiveness.

If we see through what Christ has done for us and the mercy we have received when we don’t deserve it, then we look forward to extending that same grace Christ extended to us.

The benefits of forgiving and blessing those who mean evil towards us are we can live in peace from our hearts.

We can live free from being condemned, free from being blocked from moving forward in God, and we carry God’s peace all the days of our lives.

We also create avenues for them to be softened and have a change of heart.

I personally have seen a harsh person turn around and become one of the best supporters of the kingdom of God.

The ability and resources are always there to be the peacemaker. But it is up to us to walk in it and fill our hearts and mind with the goodness of God.

Let us see everyone through the same eyes that God had seen us through. See it through His love, mercy, and grace so that we too become that grace that saved us and brought enlightenment to our own lives.
