“And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

One of Jesus's disciples marveled at the magnificent building. He drew Jesus's attention to look at it but Jesus told him the building will not last and will come down.

Many set goals in life to achieve great assets, land, houses, and many other things. They pursue to achieve something at the cost of others.

God is not against His children having wonderful things in life, He came that we may have an abundant life.

But the way Jesus teaches us is to seek Him, follow Him, and put Him first and all these things will be added unto us.

What we take at the expense of others will be gone but when we give to the Lord our lives in seeking and following Him, it will bring eternal joy and peace.

No matter how great the empire we build, if God is not the source of it, it will one day come crumbling down.

If we have God as our source of all things then we can stand secure to enjoy it no matter what happens around us.

God is building a spiritual building which is His children and He stores in them treasures that the world can’t give.

Let us build our lives on the right foundation that is Jesus Christ.

Let us lay each promise and fill the house with His goodness.
