‭‭‭‭‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV

“Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus said that there will be no one who will escape offenses. Offenses will come in many ways. Therefore, we must be prepared to address those offences in the ways of God.

Sometimes we are offended because of our own judgment concerning the situations that happen around us.

No matter which way it comes, we have to be prepared to resolve the issue and not be offended by the things that happen to us.

It is a choice that we make to choose to be offended. To take offence is to believe what they said or done.

If we believe God and regard what He had said about us as more important than what people say about us, then we should not be offended in any way because we believe God over every offences.

To be offended means we have regarded what people say or do above what God has said and done for us.

Jesus also said that the worst thing about offences is the one who offends. It is a spirit that causes people to be afflicted by it.

So we must be careful not to be the one who brings offence but be the one who bring peace, love and the truth that sets people free.

We have been entrusted by God to bring reconciliation, edification, and restoration to all.

Therefore, let us put aside every offences, renew our minds in God and bring the kingdom of God into every situation.

Blessings
