Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus spoke about the parable of the sower, He said that if we do not understand this parable, then we would not understand the rest of the parable.

Everything starts with the condition of our hearts. In this parable ,we see that there are at least four types of grounds. This speaks about the four different conditions of the heart.

The way side, a heart that is not interested in His word.

The hardened heart, a heart that hears the word but does not take time to digest it into their lives.

The thorny heart, a heart that is cluttered with so many things and not able to decide to follow God’s word.

Then the good heart, a heart that is yielded, puts into practice and manifests the abundance of God.

If the condition of our heart is not set to seek Him, to obey Him, to follow Him and to live in Him then whatever we hear from God will not take root in our lives.

This is a very important truth for us to understand, that unless we have a teachable heart, become intentional with His word and exercise it. We are not going to experience much of God in our lives.

The main thing is that we are set to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, giving our everything to God until the end.

Let us be that good ground and produce good fruits that will last for eternity.

Blessings
