‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭14‬:‭33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭14‬:‭33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul addressed issues in the growing church that comes with differences of opinions and gifts.

The main point for Paul teaching order in the church is to honour each other and make room for the gifts of God to operate.

If each one brings the gifts to the house to edify others, they will wait and work together with each other so that all can be edified.

But if someone brings their gifts and dominate the meeting without giving room for others. That is selfish and not edifying each other.

God is not the author of confusion, we can clearly see that He is the author of precision. The world is held together in such precision that things cannot be out of its place.

Therefore, our motivation to serve in the church is not to be known but to edify each other, sometimes it means for us to be quiet and make room for others to speak and bless the congregation.

It’s ok if the same person speaks if no one else has anything to bring to the house. But follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit and submit to the leadership God places in His church.

If our motivation is to serve the Lord and to be a blessing to all in the family of God, then we will always care and make room for all to be edified.

Let us honour each other and see each other as ministers of God, respect and honour the people God has placed as leaders in His kingdom to lead.

Blessings

Ps Ambrose
