“Therefore do not be partakers with them.”

Paul wrote to the Ephesians to take responsibility over the choices that we make everyday, take responsibility over the choices of our words, our conversations and our decisions.

This is so important for us to know because we don’t really realise that where we are today is because of the choices we have made.

Our success and our failures are the results of the choices we have made in life. Therefore, we cannot point our finger to anyone else for the responsibility God entrusted to us.

We have a choice to make everyday not to allow the sewage of the world to come into our lives. Many spend hours to pipe in the garbage of the world on television, through unhealthy conversations and on social media.

If we are watching something, conversing or using social media, we must make sure that it edifies us in the Lord and will edify others who hear us. We must make sure that it pumps in faith and edification to our lives.

If we sit and watch movies on divorce, unfaithfulness, lusting after the world and greed. We are going to infect our blessed relationship with the sickness of the world.

Let us be partakers of His Divine nature and purge ourselves from the things of the world. That we may reflect and shine more of God in our lives.
