“gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law.”

The law is made not to prevent good from happening but to prevent evil from happening in our society.

The law is in place so that justice can prevail and injustice can be stopped.

But there is one that is more powerful to stop evil than just the law. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is in each believer.

The greatest way to silence the enemy and his evil works is to live life in the fruit of the spirit.

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such, there is no law.

When we live in God and manifest the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our daily life, we can paralyse the enemy.

The enemy needs fuel to burn in order to manifest his work in people's life. When there is no fuel, there will be nothing for the enemy to burn.

Every time we become angry and fight back against what the enemy is doing, we charge up more fuel for the enemy to burn and create more damage.

The way we counter the enemy is not on his terms but we counter it by manifesting the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

By living in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, we have the chance not only to silence the enemy but also to bring redemption and restoration to the situation.

But doing it like the world and fuelling up on the enemy's terms will only bring punishment and destruction in the end.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is not something we need to obtain in order to work on it. We already have the fruit of the Holy Spirit because He lives in us who believe in Him.

All we need to do is to practice the fruit in our lives. When trouble or evil stands before us and tempts us, we need to rely on the Holy Spirit to help us put the fruit into action.

Let us live by cultivating the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is in us and bring healing to those who are hurting.
