Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus went into the temple and drive out all those who bought and sold. Jesus was cleaning the temple because it did not represent God’s love.

God is a giver of life, love, mercy, and grace. The people in the temple were selling animals for sacrifices.

It became a place of bargaining, bidding, disappointments, and grief. A place they put earthly value to offer God the sacrifice.

Jesus said My house is a house of prayer. It means those who seek refuge will find it there.

It means those who are broken can be made whole again, the sick can be healed and restored.

His house is a house that releases His kingdom into the lives of the people who come to the temple.

The house of God is not a place for complaints, not a place to give opinions but a place where God’s word is shared to empower people.

It is not a place to add another ritual but a place to help everyone to live the life God had prepared for them.

It is a place where people can receive support to be on the journey toward God’s purpose.

God made each one as a house of prayer, each one of us is His house that displays His love and mercy.

Let us live life as a house of God, becoming the support that God made for each other.

Blessings
