‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The way we come into the kingdom of God is by His grace. No one got saved by their own circumcision according to the law.

Paul taught believers not to put God’s grace away and nullify the work of the cross when we strive to qualify ourselves with our own sacrifices.

The way we come to know Jesus is different from each other. Therefore, we should not make those events as something sacred that others have to follow the same way.

What Paul is teaching is to put away these elementary discussions that profit nothing, instead, it will bring confusion to the body of Christ.

It is Christ who qualified us through His death, His sacrifice, and His resurrection.

The only thing that we need to do is to walk and live in agreement with all that Jesus has done for us.

People are divided over personal beliefs that bring the law back into their life.

The Bible tells us that Jesus freed us from the curse of the law. The Law carries a curse but Jesus freed us from that curse, therefore let us not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit.

Our identity should not be in what we do but in Christ and in how He has made us to be.

Many believers were still holding on to the tradition to make them feel holy, closer to God, and be saved.

We have the same challenges today. this is because we felt what Jesus did for us is too good to be true.

That is why it is called the good news.

Let us put aside every tradition and wash ourselves by the words of Jesus. Let us be led by His Spirit so that we will walk in His true image and likeness.

Blessings
