“But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.”

Seeds speak of God's word, the seed that is scattered have the same potential to bring about a great harvest and a blessing to others.

There are many different types of grounds and each ground determines how well the seed will germinate.

It is the earth that bring forth trees, plants and fruits. What really determines the growth and abundance is the ground.

God’s word is compact with the power to create, to establish, to cut, to change and restore. God’s word is always living and will always perform.

This is the reason that we can sit under the same teaching but have different type of results.

We all can hear the same message but have different applications, different commitments and different dedication.

Not everyone who graduate from the bible school makes it till the end. Only those who take the word, obey, follow and does them are those who fulfil their purpose in God.

Many can start but only few finish the race. We need to be teachable, yielded and obedient towards God and His word.

We are the ground that determines how well God’s word is going to take root.

We are the ground that can bring glory and honour to our God in the way we receive His word.

We must not let our hearts be like a rock. We must not just rejoice at the word, we must not just praise the Lord for it but we also must let the word of God shape our thinking, our habits our desires and our lives.

Let us present our lives daily to God as a good ground so that we can be a ground that produce not only 30, 60 but a hundredfold.
