Matthew‬ ‭7:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Every word that Jesus spoke and written for us is a building block that shapes our lives and displays God’s image.

If we do God’s word, we will be blessed. If we don’t do God’s word, we will lose the manifestation and life that God intends for His children.

We are to encourage people to do what Jesus has told us to do and that isn’t a law of bondage. In fact, it is the power that breaks the lie and deceit of satan that causes people to live the way they want in the name of grace.

People live in sin claiming they are in grace, don’t go to church, don’t pray, don’t read the word all in the name of grace.

But we tell our kids to go to school every day even if they say they don’t want to go to school, we call that discipline but teaching and encouraging people to do what God’s word says they called it a law.

This is because they don’t follow what God’s word says and only pick and choose what they like.

God’s word is not a market where you pick, buy and choose what you want to cook that day.

God’s word is His command. We worship the King of kings not a sales man that we take what we like and throw what we don’t like.

God’s word clearly says that those who hear and does them are like those who build his house on the rock that cannot be shaken.

Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. People who truly love God will have a zeal for everything God has spoken.

People say the Lord told me this and that but after some time they do the opposite to what God told them.

This is because we are not steadfast to press in through the storms of life and no longer do what God has told us to do.

God’s grace is to help empower people to do what His words says and not to approve our lack of commitment, lack of perseverance and lack of faithfulness towards following God.

We are all saved by the grace of God. But how far and how deep we want to journey in Him depends on how willing we are to follow Him.

Blessings
