I Corinthians 2:3 NKJV
I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
I Corinthians 2:3 NKJV
Paul is not denying his weakness, his fear and things that causes him to tremble but he is focusing his mind on the truth of his identity in Jesus, who Jesus is to the world and what Jesus has done for each one of us. That is where Paul's strength comes in.
Paul spoke of all that Jesus Christ has done for him which became his strength, builds his faith and causes him to stand on a ground that cannot be shaken.
This is how Paul eliminates his fear, doubt and unbelief that tries to take resident in his life.
If we pay attention to our weaknesses, we give life to our weaknesses and it will dominate our hearts and minds.
If we pay attention to:-
1. what Jesus has done for us, 2. the faith that He has given us which can move mountains and
3. the keys of the kingdom and His kingdom which gives us authority to take dominion,
then fear, death and worries will not have any ground in our lives.
Paul's belief and faith in Christ may not make sense and may not be persuasive but it demonstrated God's glory and power.
What God want us to do is to trade our fear for His faith, our lack for His abundance and our sorrows for His joy.
If we can trade all of ourselves to Christ Jesus then all of Christ will be revealed in and through us.
Let us build and let us continue to trade in all that is of the flesh and take upon ourselves all that is of the spirit in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Blessings
