And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

God made everything that mankind needed and God made it pleasant for them. God also put the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

We know that the Lord is good and everything good from God will stay good and end up good.

But the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a deceiving tree. It portrays goodness but the end of that goodness leads to evil and death.

This is the reason why we need to know our Lord and Saviour and move in His Spirit so that we can discern what is of God and what is of the devil.

The enemy brings deception. The enemy is always covering deception with goodness but the end of it is destruction.

The word of God will give us a clear direction and knowledge but our sights can cause us to make wrong decisions.

Many have fallen for the good looks, good promotions, good open doors and the many goodnesses which are just sugar-coated lies with traps beneath.

The only good that will guarantee to give us a good result and that will stay good to the end is God and His word.

The enemy is deceiving people the same way satan deceived Eve. It is with appearance, feelings and desires that derive from worldly things and not of God.

Let us keep God and His Word as our final guideline to life in every area of our lives.
