The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

We face all kinds of challenges in life and some are pretty big and daunting. The question is how do we react when we come face to face with our challenges?

Do we react according to what we see before us or what is a witness within us?

One of the reasons the Holy Spirit bears witness within us is to get our attention on who we are in Christ and not what the challenges are trying to project over us.

The One who bears witness within us has defeated death, overcome every temptation, won the victory and He is All-Mighty.

God the Holy Spirit bears witness within us of who we are.

We are God's own child.

We are an heir of His kingdom and we have access to all the power that was upon Jesus.

We ought to build our hearts to listening and submitting to God's witness.

We need to keep growing by the power of His Spirit every day so that we can know how to remain in the spirit and not get entangled by the things that surround us which either tempt or threaten us.

Every witness that condemns us is not from God.

Every witness that keeps showing our sins is not of God. Every witness that always causes us to focus on our weaknesses is not of God.

God said to lift our eyes unto Him and to seek His righteousness and His kingdom first.

God wants us to keep beholding Him so that we can display His power, His character and His love in every situation in our lives.

Let us keep our eyes on Jesus and yield to the witness of the Holy Spirit all the days of our lives.
