Acts 8:8 NKJV

And there was great joy in that city.

Acts 8:8 NKJV

In the midst of the persecution with Saul creating such havoc causing believers to be scattered, yet the believers became bolder and stronger.

Philip preached the gospel to the multitudes and they received the message of the gospel. Signs and wonders were displayed before them.

This act caused the city to experience great joy. Suddenly, all that was in the city was replaced by an atmosphere of God, His power and His presence.

In order for true joy to come into our cities, we need to step out in faith and preach the true Gospel of Christ.

True gospel will produce true effects where people will be delivered, set free from bondage and sicknesses.

We as believers carry that power within us and we are the vessels that God is waiting to partner with so that God Almighty can touch souls in the world.

Instead of speaking, talking and writing about the wickedness that is going on in this world, let us use every opportunity and time to spread the gospel of Christ.

Philip did not preach a sermon on how to avoid persecutions but He preached Christ and His finished work.

Every missed opportunity and time wasted would means more people will be missing out on the truth of the gospel.

Let us be bold to share Jesus to the world around us and spread His kingdom here on earth.

Blessings
