The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Different people measure success in many different ways. The worldly scale of success is measured by what is seen in terms of size eg. big or small, or in terms of height eg. how high or how short.

This is how success is measured in this world.

It is measured by scales, charts and destiny that is propelled by lust, pride and fame.

True success is shown in the word of God in this verse today.

The word of God calls Joseph a successful man because the Lord was with him.

Joseph was a servant in an Egyptian house yet the word of God stated that he was a successful man.

God is the scale that measures success. If God is living in us, then we who believe in Jesus are the most successful people on the planet.

This is because we have secured eternity through Christ our Lord. Wealth and health will end in death to a successful man but to those who are in Christ wealth, health, joy, peace and love will continue for eternity.

Don't let the world define what success is. The standards of the world are always changing according to their own thoughts. Only God never changes and His judgment on success is eternal.

God wants us to live in Him and do exactly as He says. If we keep living this way, then we are very successful in life.

A big house, a big car, a big company and a big boat does not mean we have true success, but having a Big GOD is true success.

Let us keep living for Jesus and hear the voice of our Father from heaven.

In that, we are well pleased and have success in life.
