II Timothy 2:5 NKJV

And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

II Timothy 2:5 NKJV

Every company has rules, every organization has rules, every job we undertake has rules and every country we live in has its own rules. Rules are meant to keep everyone doing things within the boundaries.

It is the same with the kingdom of God and serving the Lord. Applying our own desires, our own belief system and our own ways of life in the kingdom of God does not work.

When we give our lives to the Lord, we have made a choice to live for Him with the boundaries that He has prepared.

The rules of God's kingdom is to love God with all of our hearts, mind and strength and to love each other as Christ has loved us.

God's rules are not burdensome but motivational to keep ourselves developing in Him. The word of God shows us our potential and propels us to reach the standard in Christ.

The rules in the kingdom of God is about living in the goodness of God. Every instruction in God's Word is a tool to grow in fulfilling our true potential.

Life as a believer has its own law to be followed. That is the law of the Spirit and life in Christ Jesus.

It is the greatest treasure to have Christ living in us. The treasure is concealed in Him, protected and made holy. We who are living in Christ are enjoying the treasures in every area of our lives. We are living in His power and glory.

Therefore, let us lay aside every way of men, take hold of the ways of God and live through them.

Blessings
