Hebrews 5:14 NKJV
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14 NKJV
Solid food here talks about the revelation knowledge that God reveals for us to exercise and put into practice what we have heard.
To a person who does not want to take responsibility, God is not going to give them responsibility.
Full age here does not speak about our age, it speaks about those who have put their senses to exercise God's word and live by them.
Full age here is talking about people, young and old, learning to move with the Holy Spirit and applying the gifts and walking in the fruit of the Spirit.
The Bible clearly says that by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
We get mature when we use the word of God and exercise every muscle of our senses to heed to God's way so that our heart and mind are connected as our spirit is with the Lord.
If we don't exercise the word we receive, we will remain babies, complaining and murmuring about everything and do not know how to overcome it.
Our Father wants to take us by His hand and show us how to overcome everything that comes our way. We must be willing to take the walk and do the talk.
Spiritual maturity is taking what is given and using it to bring productivity in and through our lives.
When we start doing the word instead of just hearing it. We will develop our discernment to identify what is of God and what is not.
Let us grow into maturity by exercising every word that God has spoken to us.
