I Corinthians 6:4 NKJV
“If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge?”
I Corinthians 6:4 NKJV
There will always be conflict, misunderstanding, mistakes, and wrong judgments in the community of believers because we are all being perfected in Christ daily.
No one is perfect but the perfection of Christ in us is transforming our minds and hearts to manifest godly character.
When the Corinthian church faced the same problems in the church, they were trying to bring it to the authorities that did not understand godly principles to judge them.
Paul is saying to them that they should resolve the issues with the leaders in the church.
Godly corrections bring rehabilitation, encouragement, and restoration according to God’s purpose.
The enemy will take every opportunity to bring condemnation and shame to God’s kingdom.
We are called to give counsel to solve every situation by the wisdom of God and not according to the wisdom of this world.
Therefore, we as believers need to live our lives in accordance to godly principles and not to our own liking.
God has given us His wisdom and knowledge to judge righteously and with honour.
We must not tear each other apart and bring each other to court and bring shame to the body of Christ.
Instead, we need to seek God’s way of resolving matters and bringing peace into the body of Christ.
Let us rely upon God and His wisdom in every situation, trusting in God’s wisdom and knowledge.
Blessings
