John‬ ‭21:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.”

‭‭John‬ ‭21:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This event took place after. Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

Peter and the disciples went out fishing but caught nothing that night and when morning came, Jesus told them to cast their net on the right side and they caught a lot of fish.

When Peter realised that it was Jesus, he put on his clothes, jumped into the sea, left his catch, and went to Jesus.

When they all came on shore, Jesus was ready with cooked fish and bread for them.

Sometimes we toil, work hard and do it all with our own strength and yet we did not achieve anything.

But when we let God direct our steps, when we diligently work as God wants us to, then we will not only have blessings but will have them more abundantly.

Peter left his catch, fishes that need to be cleaned, washed, and cooked and run to Jesus who had already prepared a meal ready for them to eat.

God has prepared the best for His children. If we can learn like Peter to trust Jesus and not his catch, then we too can experience what Peter experienced.

When we give up things for God, He always prepares the best for us. Everything that God does for us is far better than what we can achieve by ourselves.

We thank God for our work

We thank God for our bosses and the company but our trust is in our God who is the Promoter, Provider, and Protector of our lives.

Let us surrender everything to Jesus and trust Him that He has got us all covered with the best.

Blessings
