Colossians‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There are a lot of persuasive things out there in the world. There are also people who are very passionate to advocate their beliefs to suit their pleasures.

Arguments can turn a good relationship into a toxic environment that pull people apart instead of unifying them in the love of God.

The best medicine is to bring it all in the light of God’s glory and speak His kingdom and His love into every situation.

This argument that Paul is talking about is very complex and deceptive to allure people away from the truth that Jesus Christ has established.

Paul is teaching the Colossians to be on guard and alert not to get entangled with arguments that never profit the kingdom of God.

Paul knows the moment we engage ourselves in arguments, we are already being enticed to eat the bait that the enemy puts out there.

Therefore, we must be vigilant not to give ourselves to arguments, debates that involve selfish motives and do not benefit the kingdom of God.

We need to stay focused in the power of God and the Divine nature He has blessed us with.

We are to stay on top of things because that’s how Jesus has set us up in His kingdom, seated together with Him in heavenly places.

Let us rule over every deceit by not getting involved in it, standing strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Let us anchor ourselves in the Lord at all times by giving ourselves to the truth of God’s word.

Blessings
