Galatians 1:1 NKJV
“Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),”
Galatians 1:1 NKJV
Paul in his writing to the Galatians starts by acknowledging his position of authority.
Paul emphasised not only his authority as an apostle of Christ but also that he belonged to God. Therefore, everything he does must be led by God.
This means everything that Paul says is not out of his personal preference or his own mission but God’s.
This sets Paul off to his best in bringing the truth without it being adulterated by his own passion or his own needs.
Each one of us is bought by Jesus just like Paul. We are all appointed to witness Jesus just like Paul.
We start by acknowledging that we are of Christ and not of ourselves and everything that we want to bring and do will be of Him and not of us.
True leadership and true guidance come from God and by revelation revealed by God’s Spirit.
If we constantly acknowledge that it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me then we will not speak, pray, and acknowledge as one who has nothing but as one who has received everything.
God wanted Paul to minister out of His fullness.
God wanted Paul to speak as one who had received everything from God.
The introduction of our life is supposed to be like that. We don’t live our lives as a believer in the natural but be partakers of His divine nature.
Let us all take our place in Christ Jesus, walk in the image Christ has purchased, and give God all the glory.
Blessings
