Acts 4:10 NKJV
“let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.”
Acts 4:10 NKJV
Rulers and leaders are supposed to help people to live in peace, and make good things happen so that all can live life blessed.
But these religious leaders and rulers judged Peter for a good deed that he and John had done.
Many evil people were using evil spirits in their days and they were left to continue but Peter and John who did something for free in Jesus's name were judged.
But Peter with boldness spoke out the truth and declared that this is the power of Jesus at work in all who believe in Him.
We need to be bold to tell the truth, stand for the truth, and defend it so that we will not lose but pass on the knowledge of Christ to the next generation.
The religious leaders were shocked because they knew ordinary men could not do what Peter and John had done.
Religious people only can perform religious things. They produce more burden than solutions.
The people of God who believe in Jesus are the carriers of God’s solutions to the world.
We need to come out of religious practices and start a real relationship with Jesus.
Living in Him, listening to Him, and seeing things through Him.
When we do live in Christ, we are not going to manifest what we have naturally but manifest that which is of Christ in us.
Peter told the rulers that it was the same Jesus Christ whom they crucified.
In a sense, Peter told the religious leaders. You killed the one person, Jesus Christ on that cross but now that same Christ is in all who believe in Him.
They can kill the flesh but the Spirit of God is now made available to all believers.
No power can stop the kingdom movement unless we decide to settle in for lies.
Truth will advance us to greater heights and cause us to function with a heavenly dimension.
Let us be bold to declare Jesus is Lord by manifesting His power daily in and through our lives.
Blessings
